Harvesters
The most overlooked, under-developed and unmobilized Great Commission ministry resource can be found sitting in the pews of our churches!  When gifted teachers or preachers are identified in the local church, we encourage them to seek training which will enable them to effectively use their gift in ministry. Those who are gifted in leadership are groomed for positions of leadership.  When was the last time you heard of someone with spiritual giftedness as an evangelist being encouraged to seek training so that he or she might use that gift to strengthen the ministry of the local church?

The nature of the ministry of the gifted evangelist is such that it was mentioned specifically in Ephesians 4:11 as one of the gifts necessary “for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ.” (v.12)
Gifted evangelists not only bring people to Christ but they encourage and equip others to do the same.  What a tremendously valuable resource!  Do you know who the gifted evangelists are in your church?  Who is helping them to develop and use their gift in building up the church?
With the intent of helping to meet this great need IFCA International has devoted an aspect of its ministry, known as "IFCA Harvesters" to come alongside the local church in the task of encouraging and equipping its gifted evangelists to do the work that God has called them to do; thus strengthening and expanding the Great Commission ministry of the local church where they attend.
